Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Grant) (Amendment) Regulations 1994 and shall come into force on 1st September 1994.

Section 2 Amendment of the Education (Grant) Regulations 1990

The Education (Grant) Regulations 1990ft(c) are amended by the insertion after regulation 16 of–

(16A) The Secretary of State may pay grants to the Engineering Council in respect of approved expenditure incurred or to be incurred by them in connection with the payment of bursaries for students attending courses leading to a degree in engineering.
