Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Payment for Special Educational Needs Supplies) (Amendment) Regulations 1994 and shall come into force on 7th September 1994.

Section 2 Amendment

Regulation 2 of the Education (Payment for Special Educational Needs Supplies) Regulations 1994 shall be amended—

(a) by the insertion at the beginning of paragraph (2) of the words “Subject to paragraph (4) below”; and

(b) by the addition after paragraph (3) of the following paragraph—

(4) Paragraph (2) above shall have effect in relation to the maintenance grant for a grant-maintained special school for the financial year beginning in 1994 with the omission in sub-paragraph (a)(ii) of that paragraph of the words “the financial year immediately preceding”.
