Section 1

The Birmingham City Council (Birmingham and Fazeley Canal Bridge) Scheme 1992 is hereby confirmed without modifications.

Section 2

The said Scheme as confirmed (hereinafter referred to as “the Scheme”) is set out in the Schedule hereto and copies of the Scheme with its accompanying plans are deposited at the offices of the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY, and at the offices of the Birmingham City Council, Ingleby House, 11—14 Cannon Street, Birmingham.

Section 3

The Scheme will become operative on the date on which notice that it has been confirmed is first published in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 2 to the Highways Act 1980.

Section 4

This Instrument may be cited as the Birmingham City Council (Birmingham and Fazeley Canal Bridge) Scheme 1992 Confirmation Instrument 1994.

Section 1

The Council are authorised to construct over the navigable waters of the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal the bridge specified in the Schedule to this Scheme as part of the highway which they are proposing to construct/improve in Thimble Mill Lane Aston in the City of Birmingham.

Section 2

The Council are also authorised in connection with the construction of the said bridge to divert the part of the navigable watercourse specified in the said Schedule in the manner shown in that Schedule.

Section 3

This Scheme may be cited as the Birmingham City Council (Birmingham and Fazeley Canal Bridge) Scheme 1992.
