Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Health Service Commissioner for England (National Blood Authority) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 1st January 1995.

Section 2 Designation as body subject to investigation

The National Blood Authority is hereby designated as a Special Health Authority to which section 2 of the Health Service Commissioners Act 1993 (health service bodies subject to investigation by the Health Service Commissioner) applies.
