Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Practitioners (Registration) (Amendment) Regulations 1994.

Section 2

Regulation 16 of the Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Practitioners Registration Regulations 1967 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Regulations”) shall be amended by the deletion of the second sentence and the substitution of the following therefor—

This fee shall be paid at the time of the application for registration and shall be £140.00 for names entered on the Register before 31st March 1994 and £144.00 for names entered on the Register on 31st March 1994 and thereafter,

Section 3

Regulation 20 of the principal Regulations shall be amended by the deletion in paragraphs (a), (b) and (d) of the amounts “£123.00”, “£36.00” and “£23.00” and the substitution therefor of the amounts “£127.00”, “£37.00” and “£24.00” respectively;

Section 4

Regulation 23 of the principal Regulations shall be amended by the deletion in the first and third sentences of paragraph (b) of the amount “£140.00” and the substitution therefor in each case of the amount “£144.00”.

Section 5

Regulations 2, 3 and 4 of the Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Practitioners Registration (Amendment) Regulations 1993 are hereby revoked.
