Section 1 Citation and commencement

(1) This Order may be cited as the Ogwr (Ogmore Valley and Garw Valley Communities) Order 1994.

(2) This Order shall come into force on 1st March 1995 for any purpose set out in regulation 4(1) (Coming into operation of order) of the Local Government Area Changes Regulations 1976 .

(3) For all other purposes this Order shall come into force on 1st April 1995.

Section 2 Changes in area

The part of the community of Ogmore Valley which is shown hatched in black on the boundary map prepared by the Welsh Office, marked “Map of the Ogwr (Ogmore Valley and Garw Valley Communities) Order 1994” shall–

(a) be transferred to the community of Garw Valley;

(b) form part of the Llangeinor ward of that community;

(c) form part of the Llangeinor ward of the borough of Ogwr; and

(d) form part of the Cwm Garw electoral division of the county of Mid Glamorgan.
