The Combined Probation Areas (Hertfordshire) Order 1994

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Combined Probation Areas (Hertfordshire) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 1st January 1995.

Section 2

That part of Schedule 2 to the Combined Probation Areas Order 1986 which relates to the Hertfordshire Probation Area shall be amended by—

(a) omitting the entry in respect of the petty sessions area of Stevenage;

(b) substituting in column 3 “4” for “2” in respect of the petty sessions area of North Hertfordshire.

Section 3

The four members of the Hertfordshire Probation Committee appointed before 1st January 1995 by the justices of the petty sessions areas of Stevenage and North Hertfordshire shall continue in office as if they had been appointed by the justices for the new petty sessions area of North Hertfordshire .
