Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Financial Services (Disclosure of Information) (Designated Authorities) (No. 8) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 10th March 1994.

Section 2Designation of authorities and specification of functions
For the purposes of section 180(3) of the Financial Services Act 1986 and section 449(1B) of the Companies Act 1985, the Director General of the National Lottery is designated as an authority in relation to his functions under sections 5 to 10 inclusive and section 15 of the National Lottery etc. Act 1993 .
Section 3Designation of authorities and specification of functions
In the Companies Act 1989, in section 87, in the Table of relevant authorities and functions contained in subsection (4), the following shall be inserted at the end:–
