Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Council Tax (Additional Provisions for Discount Disregards) (Amendment) Regulations 1994 and shall come into force on 1st April 1994.

Section 2 Care Workers

The Schedule to the Council Tax (Additional Provisions for Discount Disregards) Regulations 1992 shall be amended, in paragraph 3, by the substitution for sub-paragraph (a)(iiii) of the following paragraph—

(iii) an increase in the rate of his disablement pension under section 104 of that Act by an amount which is the highest amount determined in accordance with paragraph (a) of regulation 19 of the Social Security (General Benefit) Regulations 1982 or, in a case to which paragraph (b) of that regulation applies, the amount determined in accordance with that paragraph; or
