The British Citizenship (Designated Service) (Amendment) Order 1994

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the British Citizenship (Designated Service) (Amendment) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 1st April 1994.

Section 2

In the Schedule to the British Citizenship (Designated Service) Order 1982 (which specifies descriptions of service designated for the purposes of section 2 of the British Nationality Act 1981)—

(a) paragraphs 10 and 12 shall be deleted;

(b) in paragraph 13 the words “10” and “12” shall be deleted; and the words “16 to 18” inserted after the words “11 and”; and

(c) after paragraph 14 there shall be inserted—

(15) Service under the Customs Co—operation Council.

(16) Service under the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council.

(17) Service under the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council.

(18) Service under the Particle Physics and Astronomy Research Council.
