Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order ay be cited as the Greater Manchester (Light Rapid Transit System) (Modification) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 28th March 1994.

Section 2Substitution of fixed bridge for opening bridge in description of Work No. 1
Notwithstanding that the bridge over the Manchester Ship Canal forming part of Work No.1 of the Greater Manchester (Light Rapid Transit System) Act 1990 is described in section 4 of that Act and referred to in the substituted section deposited for the purposes of that Act as having an opening span, it may be made and maintained with a fixed span.
