The Civil Courts (Amendment) Order 1994

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Civil Courts (Amendment) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 5th April 1994.

Section 2

In this Order, “the 1983 Order ” means the Civil Courts Order 1983 .

Section 3

The holding of the Sevenoaks, Sheerness and Sudbury County Courts shall be discontinued and Schedule 3 to the 1983 Order shall accordingly be amended by deleting the entries relating to those courts .

Section 4

(1) The Colchester and Clacton County Court shall be known as the Colchester County Court.

(2) Schedule 4 to the 1983 Order shall accordingly be amended as follows—

(a) the entry numbered 7 shall be deleted; and

(b) the entries numbered 8 to 11A shall be renumbered 7 to 11 respectively.
