Section 1
These Regulations may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Seamen’s Wages and Accounts) (Amendment) Regulations 1994 and shall come into force on 13th April 1994.

The Merchant Shipping (Seamen~s Wages and Accounts) (Amendment) Regulations 1994
Section 2
The Merchant Shipping (Seamen’s Wages and Accounts) Regulations 1972 shall be further amended by the substitution for regulation 6 of the following:
(6) The maximum amount which may be deducted from a seaman’s wages in respect of any number of breaches of his obligations under the crew agreement—
(a) by virtue of regulation 5(c), shall be £300; and
(b) by virtue of regulation 5(d), shall be £300.
