Section 1 Citation

This Order may be cited as the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 (Commencement No. 4) Order 1994.

Section 2 Interpretation

In this Order—

“the commencement date” means 1st April 1994;

“ the Corporation ” means the English Industrial Estates Corporation; and

“the 1993 Act ” means the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993.

Section 3 Commencement

The following provisions of the 1993 Act shall come into force on the commencement date—

so much of section 132 as was not brought into force on 10th November 1993, section 184, and

section 187(2) in so far as it relates to the repeal of the English Industrial Estates Corporation Act 1981 .

Section 3 Transitional provisions

Anything which before the commencement date was in the process of being done by, or in relation to, the Corporation, including anything done in relation to legal proceedings, may be continued after that date by or in relation to the Agency.
