Section 1Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (Optical Charges and Payments) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1995 and shall come into force on 1st February 1995.

(2) In these Regulations “the principal Regulations ” means the National Health Service (Optical Charges and Payments) (Scotland) Regulations 1989 .

Section 2Amendment of regulation 1 of the principal Regulations

In regulation 1(2) of the principal Regulations (interpretation) in sub-paragraph (a) of the definition of “ NHS sight test fee” for “£34.22” there is substituted “£35.09”.
