The Education (School Teachers' Pay and Conditions) Order 1995

Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Education (School Teachers' Pay and Conditions) Order 1995 and shall come into force on 26th April 1995.

Section 2 Application and effect

This Order applies to school teachers (as defined in sections 5(1) and (2) of the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Act 1991) in England and Wales, and gives effect without any material modification to recommendations of the review body.

Section 3 School Teachers' Pay and Conditions

The School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document 1994 is amended with effect from 1st April 1995 as follows:

(a) the following shall be substituted for the table in paragraph 4.3:

(b) the following shall be substituted for the table in paragraph 4.4.2:

Head teachers

Deputy head teachers

(c) the following shall be substituted for the table in paragraph 9.2:

(d) the following shall be substituted for the table in paragraph 15.1:

; and

(e) in paragraph 21.1—

(i) in sub–paragraph (a) for “£1,899” there shall be substituted “£1,950”;

(ii) in sub–paragraph (b) for “£1,248” there shall be substituted “£1,281”; and

(iii) in sub–paragraph (c) for “£486” there shall be substituted “£498”.
