Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Building Societies (Provision of Services) Order 1995 and shall come into force on 1st June 1995.

Section 2Variation of Schedule 8

Schedule 8 to the Building Societies Act 1986 (which relates to the powers of a building society to provide services) shall be varied by the deletion of paragraph 1(a), (d) and (e) of Part III (which restrict to individuals the provision of certain banking services).
