Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Teesside Tertiary College (Incorporation) Order 1995 and shall come into force on 15th June 1995 (“the Commencement Date”).

Section 2

On the Commencement Date there shall be established a body corporate called “Teesside Tertiary College” for the purpose of establishing and conducting from the operative date a new educational institution of that name (to be formed by the merger of Longlands College of Further Education and Marton Sixth Form College).

Section 3

The “operative date” in relation to the further education corporation established by this Order shall be 1st August 1995, and the corporation shall conduct Teesside Tertiary College from that date.
