Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours (Amendment) Regulations 1995 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which they are made.

Section 2

The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 are hereby amended as follows—

(a) in regulation 2(1) after the definition of “the Directive” there shall be inserted the following definition—

“member State” means a member State of the European Community or another State in the European Economic Area;

(b) in regulation 17(7) in the definition of “authorised institution” after the words “member State” there shall be inserted the following words “, of the Channel Islands or of the Isle of Man”; and

(c) in regulation 18(6)(a) after the words “member State” there shall be inserted the following words “, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man”.
