Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Non-Domestic Rating (Police Authorities) Order 1995 and shall come into force on 7th July 1995.

Section 2Disapplication of Crown exemption

(1) Subsection (6) of section 64 of the Local Government Finance Act 1988 shall apply to any hereditament falling within the class prescribed in paragraph (2) of this article.

(2) The class of hereditaments prescribed in this paragraph consists of hereditaments provided and maintained by a police authority established under section 3 of the Police Act 1964 for purposes connected with the administration of justice, police purposes or other Crown purposes.
