Section 1 Citation, commencement and revocation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Education (School Teachers' Pay and Conditions) (No. 2) Order 1995 and shall come into force on 1st September 1995.

(2) The Education (School Teachers' Pay and Conditions) (No. 2) Order 1994 and the Education (School Teachers' Pay and Conditions) Order 1995 are hereby revoked.

Section 2 Application

This Order applies to school teachers (as defined in section 5(1) and (2) of the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Act 1991) in England and Wales.

Section 3 School Teachers' Pay and Conditions

(1) It is hereby directed that the provisions set out in the document published by Her Majesty’s Stationery Office and entitled “School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document 1995” (“the Document”) shall, save for paragraph 21.6 of the Document, have effect from 1st September 1995.

(2) Paragraph 21.6 of the Document (which deals with the Inner London Area Supplement) shall have effect from 1st September 1994.
