These Regulations may be cited as the Street Works (Registers, Notices, Directions and Designations) (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 1995 and shall come into force on 11th September 1995.

The Street Works (Registers, Notices, Directions and Designations) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1995 are revoked.
The Street Works (Registers, Notices, Directions and Designations) Regulations 1992 shall be amended as set out in regulations 4 and 5 below.
In regulation 13(1)(a) for the words “under section 1 or 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984” there shall be substituted the words “under section 1, 6 or 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984” and the words “for at least one hour” shall be inserted before the words “between 7.30 am and 9.30 am” and before the words “between 3.30 pm and 7.00 pm”.
For regulation 13(1)(d) there shall be substituted—
(d) The street is a priority route, or a street which the Director considers is likely to be affected by a priority route, and in respect of which prohibitions or restrictions of waiting have been imposed, or parking places have been designated, in the implementation of the relevant local plan or trunk road local plan, to the extent that the Director asks the street authority to designate it as traffic-sensitive, and during the times at which any such prohibitions, restrictions or designations are in force.
(dd) The street is a priority route, or a street which the Director considers is likely to be affected by a priority route, but in respect of which no prohibitions or restrictions of waiting have been imposed or parking places designated in the implementation of the relevant local plan or trunk road local plan, to the extent that the Director asks the street authority to designate the street as traffic-sensitive between the hours of 6.30 am and 7.30 pm on any day except Sunday.
In regulation 13(4) there shall be inserted after the definition of “critical gyratory or roundabout system” the following definitions—
“the Director”, “local plan”, “priority route” and “trunk road local plan” have the meanings given to those expressions in section 82(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1991
