Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Assistants for Political Groups) (Remuneration) Order 1995 and shall come into force on 19th October 1995.

Section 2Specified maximum amount

The amount specified for the purposes of section 9(3) of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 (assistants for political groups) is £25,044.

Section 3Revocation

The Local Government (Assistants for Political Groups) (Remuneration) Order 1991 is hereby revoked.
