The Combined Areas (West Yorkshire) Order 1995

Section 1

(1) This Order may be cited as the Combined Probation Areas (West Yorkshire) Order 1995.

(2) This Order shall come into force on 1st April 1996 save that, for the purpose of making appointments to the probation committee for the West Yorkshire Probation Area to take effect on that date, this Order shall come into force forthwith.

Section 2

That part of Schedule 2 to the Combined Probation Areas Order 1986 which relates to the West Yorkshire Probation Area shall be amended by substituting in column 3—

(a) “1” for “3” in the entries in respect of the petty sessions areas of Batley and Dewsbury, Keighley, Pontefract and Wakefield;

(b) “3” for “6” in the entry in respect of the petty sessions area of Bradford;

(c) “2” for “5” in the entry in respect of the petty sessions area of Calderdale;

(d) “2” for “4” in the entry in respect of the petty sessions area of Huddersfield;

(e) “5” for “10” in the entry in respect of the petty sessions area of Leeds; and

(f) “1” for “2” in the entries in respect of the petty sessions areas of Pudsey and Otley, and Skyrack and Wetherby.
