Section 1 Title, extent and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Sheep Annual Premium (Amendment) Regulations 1995, shall extend to Great Britain and shall come into force on 15th November 1995.

Section 2 Amendments to the Sheep Annual Premium Regulations 1992

(1) The Sheep Annual Premium Regulations 1992 shall be amended in accordance with the following paragraphs of this regulation.

(2) In the definition of “the Commission Regulation” in paragraph (1) of regulation 2 (interpretation) insert at the end “as last amended by Commission Regulation ( EC ) No. 1648/95 ”.

(3) The following paragraph shall be substituted for paragraph (2) of regulation 3 (application for a premium)—

(2) A producer who applies for a premium in respect of a given marketing year shall deliver his application to the competent authority—

(a) on or after 4th December in the preceding marketing year; but

(b) not later than 4th February in that marketing year.
