Section 1 Title, commencement and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Products of Animal Origin (Import and Export) (Amendment) Regulations 1995 and shall come into force on 1 December 1995.

(2) In these Regulations the “ principal Regulations ” means the Products of Animal Origin (Import and Export) Regulations 1992 .

Section 2 Amendment of the principal Regulations

(1) In each of the provisions of the principal Regulations which are specified in paragraph (2) below, for the words “Divisional Veterinary Officer” there shall be substituted the words “Divisional Veterinary Manager”.

(2) The following provisions of the principal Regulations are specified for the purposes of paragraph (1) above—

(a) regulation 1(2);

(b) regulation 7(5);

(c) regulation 7(6);

(d) regulation 10(7); and

(e) regulation 15(5).
