Section 1Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Registration of Births, Still-births, Deaths and Marriages (Prescription of Forms) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1995 and shall come into force on 1st January 1996.

Section 2Interpretation

In these Regulations, “the principal regulations” means the Registration of Births, Still-births, Deaths and Marriages (Prescription of Forms) (Scotland) Regulations 1965 .

Section 3Amendment of the principal regulations

For the form set out in Schedule 1 to the principal regulations , there shall be substituted the form set out in Schedule 1 to these Regulations.

Section 4Amendment of the principal regulations

For the form set out in Schedule 2 to the principal regulations , there shall be substituted the form set out in Schedule 2 to these Regulations.

Section 5Amendment of the principal regulations

For the form set out in Schedule 5 to the principal regulations , there shall be substituted the form set out in Schedule 3 to these Regulations.

Section 6Amendment of the principal regulations

For the form set out in Schedule 10 to the principal regulations , there shall be substituted the form set out in Schedule 4 to these Regulations.

Section 7Amendment of the principal regulations

For the form set out in Schedule 16 to the principal regulations , there shall be substituted the form set out in Schedule 5 to these Regulations.

Section 8Amendment of the principal regulations

For the form set out in Schedule 17 to the principal regulations , there shall be substituted the form set out in Schedule 6 to these Regulations.

Section 9Revocations

(1) Regulations 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 of and Schedules 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 to the Registration of Births, Still-births, Deaths and Marriages (Prescription of Forms) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1971 are hereby revoked.

(2) Regulation 4 of and Schedule 1 to the Registration of Births, Still-births, Deaths and Marriages (Prescription of Forms) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1994 is hereby revoked.
