The A5 Trunk Road (Priorslee—Gailey) (Detrunking) Order 1995

Section 1

The lengths of the trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order and shown by a broken line on the plan shall cease to be trunk road and shall be classified as principal road as from the date when this Order comes into force.

Section 2

In this Order-—

(a) all measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway;

(b)

(i) “the plan”

(ii) “principal road”

(iii) “the trunk road”

Section 3

This Order shall come into force on 1st April 1995 and may be cited as the A5 Trunk Road (Priorslee—Gailey) (Detrunking) Order 1995.

Section 1

In the County of Shropshire, from the southern boundary of the bridge over the M54 motorway to Priorslee Roundabout, a distance of approximately 0.3 kilometre, as indicated by the letter 'A' on the plan;

Section 2

In the County of Shropshire, from Priorslee Roundabout to the county boundary with Staffordshire, a distance of approximately 9.67 kilometres, as indicated by the letter 'B' on the plan;

Section 3

In the County of Staffordshire, from the Staffordshire/Shropshire county boundary to its junction with the A449 Trunk Road at Gailey Roundabout, a distance of approximately 12.39 kilometres, as indicated by the letter `C' on the plan.
