Section 1 Citation, commencement and application

(1) This Order may be cited as the Local Authorities (Discretionary Expenditure Limits) (England) Order 1995 and shall come into force on 1st April 1995.

(2) This Order applies to local authorities in England only.

Section 2 Expenditure limits

For the purposes of section 137(4)(a) of the Local Government Act 1972, there is hereby specified the sum of£3.80 in relation to —

(a) a county council which is also exercising the functions of a district council pursuant to an order made under section 17 of the Local Government Act 1992 (“a structure change order”); and

(b) a district council which is also exercising the functions of a county council pursuant to a structure change order.
