Section 1 Citation, commencement and transitional provisions

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Civil Legal Aid (Assessment of Resources) (Amendment) Regulations 1995 and shall come into force on 10th April 1995.

(2) These Regulations shall apply to applications for legal aid made on or after 10th April 1995 and applications made before that date shall be treated as if these Regulations had not come into force.

Section 2 Amendments to the Civil Legal Aid (Assessment of Resources) Regulations 1989

Regulation 4 of the Civil Legal Aid (Assessment of Resources) Regulations 1989 shall be amended as follows:—

(a) in paragraph (2), “£7,187” shall be substituted for “£7,060”;

(b) in paragraph (3), “£7,920” shall be substituted for “£7,780”;

(c) in paragraph (4), “£2,425” shall be substituted for “£2,382”.
