Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Registration of Births and Deaths (Welsh Language) (Amendment) Regulations 1995 and shall come into force on 1st April 1995.

(2) In these Regulations “the principal Regulations ” means the Registration of Births and Deaths (Welsh Language) Regulations 1987 .

Section 2 Substitution of forms 1, 2, 5, 6, 7 and 9 in Schedule 2 to the principal Regulations

For forms 1, 2, 5, 6, 7 and 9 in Schedule 2 to the principal Regulations (prescribed forms) there shall be substituted respectively the forms 1, 2, 5, 6, 7 and 9 in the Schedule to these Regulations.

Section 3 Revocation of regulation 9 of the principal Regulations

Regulation 9 of the principal Regulations (discrepancies) is hereby revoked.
