Section 1Citation and Commencement

This Order shall be cited as the Regional Flood Defence Committee (Welsh Region) (Amendment) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 1st April 1996.

Section 2Amendment of the Regional Flood Defence Committee (Welsh Region) Order 1996

The Regional Flood Defence Committee (Welsh Region) Order 1996 is amended by the insertion after article 2 of:—
Revocation
(3) The Welsh National Water Development Authority (Regional Land Drainage Committee) Order 1973 is hereby revoked.
