Section 1 Citation and Commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Grant-maintained and Grant-maintained Special Schools) (Finance) (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 1996 and shall come into force on 11th June 1996.

Section 2 Amendment of Regulations

Schedule 5 to the Education (Grant-maintained and Grant-maintained Special Schools) (Finance) (Wales) Regulations 1996 shall be amended by the addition at the end of Schedule 5, after paragraph 2(e) of that Schedule, of the following sub-paragraph:

(f) expenditure incurred or to be incurred by the governing body of primary schools in connection with—

(i) the procurement of professional advice for the purposes of the school; and

(ii) staff absences.
