Section 1Citation, commencement and extent

(1) This Order may be cited as the Deregulation (Long Pull) Order 1996 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

(2) This Order does not extend to Scotland or Northern Ireland.

Section 2Repeal of “long pull” prohibition

Section 165 of the Licensing Act 1964 is hereby repealed.
