Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Local Statutory Provisions (Exemption of St. Andrews Links Trust) (Scotland) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 1st July 1996.

Section 2Provision continuing to have effect

The St Andrews Links Order Confirmation Act 1974 is hereby exempted under section 59(6)(a) of the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1994 and accordingly the said Act of 1974 shall not cease to have effect on 31st December 1999.
