Section 1 Title and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Oil and Fibre Plant Seeds (Amendment) Regulations 1996 and shall come into force on 1st July 1996.

Section 2 Amendment of the Oil and Fibre Plant Seeds Regulations 1993

(1) The Oil and Fibre Plant Seeds Regulations 1993 shall be amended in accordance with the provisions of this regulation.

(2) In the table in paragraph 8 of Part I of Schedule 5 (sampling of seed lots) there shall be added at the end the following new line—

(3) In the table in Part II of Schedule 5 (maximum weight of a seed lot and minimum weight of a submitted sample) there shall be substituted for the figure “20” in the second column opposite the entries “Sunflower” and “Soya bean” in the first column the figure “25”.
