Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Local Government Act 1988 (Defined Activities) (Exemption) (Waltham Forest London Borough Council) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 17th July 1996.

Section 2Exemption of repair and maintenance of vehicles
The repair and maintenance of vehicles by the council of the London borough of Waltham Forest shall not be treated as a defined activity so long as it is carried out during the period beginning with 17th July 1996 and ending with 31st March 1997.
