Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Housing (Right to Buy) (Priority of Charges) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 20th February 1996.

Section 2 Specified Bodies

The following bodies are hereby specified as approved lending institutions for the purposes of section 156 of the Housing Act 1985 (priority of charges)—

(a) Bradford & Bingley Loans Limited;

(b) Bradford & Bingley Management Limited;

(c) Bradford & Bingley Secured Loans Limited;

(d) Bradford & Bingley Secured Loans Management Limited;

(e) Chelsea Mortgage Services Limited;

(f) City Mortgage Corporation Limited;

(g) Pickering Finance Limited;

(h) Swift Advances Plc;

(i) Swift Securities Plc.
