Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Local Government Reorganisation (Miscellaneous Provision) (Rush Common) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 26th July 1996.

The Local Government Reorganisation (Miscellaneous Provision) (Rush Common) Order 1996
Section 2Amendment of 1988 Order
Article 6 (Rush Common, Brixton) of the Local Government Reorganisation (Miscellaneous Provision) Order 1988 shall be amended as follows—
(a) after “under” insert “section 8 of the London County Council (General Powers) Act 1938 (removal of building restriction and widening of Brixton Road) and” ; and
(b) for “sections 9 to 12 of that Act” substitute “that section and that Part”.
