This Order may be cited as the Disability Discrimination (Guidance and Code of Practice) (Appointed Day) Order 1996.

The Disability Discrimination (Guidance and Code Of Practice) (Appointed Day) Order 1996
Section 2Appointed Day for Guidance
The day appointed as the day on which the Guidance (on the matters to be taken into account in determining questions relating to the definition of disability) issued pursuant to section 3 of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 on 25th July 1996 shall come into force is 31st July 1996.
Section 3Appointed Day for Code of Practice
The day appointed as the day on which the Code of Practice (for the elimination of discrimination in the field of employment against disabled persons or persons who have had a disability) issued pursuant to section 53 of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 on 25th July 1996 shall come into force is 2nd December 1996.
