Section 1Citation and commencement
These Regulations may be cited as the Vehicle Excise Duty (Fee for Temporary Licences) Regulations 1996 and shall come into force on 2nd September 1996.

Section 2Change of fee
The sum of £2.35 is hereby prescribed in substitution for the sum of £2 specified in section 9(3) (fee payable for temporary licence issued by an agent of the Secretary of State) of the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994.
