Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Scottish Qualifications Authority (Establishment) (Scotland) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 18th September 1996.

Section 2Establishment of Scottish Qualifications Authority

There shall be established a body corporate to be known as the Scottish Qualifications Authority.
