Section 1 Title and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Cattle Passports (Fees) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 23rd September 1996.

Section 2 Replacement cattle passports

(1) Any person applying for a replacement cattle passport under the provisions of article 13 of the Cattle Passports Order 1996 shall pay to the appropriate Minister a fee of £50.

(2) The fee shall be payable in full before a replacement passport is issued at the time that an application for a replacement passport is lodged with the appropriate Minister.

(3) The fee shall be forfeited if the applicant withdraws the application or the appropriate Minister is unable to obtain sufficient information to issue a replacement passport.
