Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Central Manchester Development Corporation (Transfer of Property, Rights and Liabilities) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 26th March 1996.

Section 2Transfer of property, rights and liabilities

There are hereby transferred to the Secretary of State any property, rights and liabilities vested for the time being in the Central Manchester Development Corporation which have not been transferred under—
(a) an agreement made under section 165 of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980 ; or
(b) article 4 of the Central Manchester Development Corporation (Planning Functions) Order 1996 .
