Section 1Citation

This Order may be cited as the Environment Agency (Transfer Date) Order 1996.

Section 2Transfer Date

For the purposes of Part I of the Environment Act 1995 as it applies for or in connection with transfers under or by virtue of Chapter I of that Part, the transfer date shall be 1st April 1996.
