Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Local Government Act 1988 (Defined Activities) (Exemption) (Lewisham London Borough Council) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 31st October 1996.

Section 2 Exemption of catering in the London borough of Lewisham

Catering by the council of the London borough of Lewisham shall not be treated as a defined activity so long as it is carried out in their area during the period beginning on 1st January 1997 and ending with 31st March 1998.
