Section 1Citation

This Order may be cited as the Housing Act 1996 (Commencement No. 4) Order 1996.

Section 2Commencement

Section 167 of the Housing Act 1996 shall come into force on 23rd October 1996 for the purposes of requiring a local housing authority to consult on an allocation scheme prior to its adoption and enabling them to adopt the scheme.
