(1) This Order may be cited as the Combined Probation Areas (Shropshire) Order 1996.
(2) This Order shall come into force on 1st April 1996 save that, for the purpose of making appointments to the probation committee for the Shropshire Probation Area to take effect on that date, this Order shall come into force forthwith.
(2) That part of the Combined Probation Areas Order 1986 which relates to the Shropshire Probation Area shall be amended by substituting in column 3—
(a) “1” for “2” in the entries in respect of the petty sessions areas of Bridgnorth, Ludlow and Oswestry;
(b) “1” for “3” in the entry in respect of the petty sessions area of Drayton;
(c) “2” for “5” in the entry in respect of the petty sessions area of Shrewsbury; and
(d) “4” for “8” in the entry in respect of the petty sessions area of Telford.
