The Consumer Credit (Exempt Agreements) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 1996

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Consumer Credit (Exempt Agreements) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 6th January 1997.

Section 2

The Consumer Credit (Exempt Agreements) Order 1989 is hereby amended in Schedule 1.
(a) in Part I, under “INSURANCE COMPANIES”—
(i) by the insertion, after
“Clerical Medical and General Life Assurance Society”, of “Colonial Life ( UK ) Limited”,
(ii) by the deletion of
“Colonial Mutual Life (Unit Assurances) Limited”, and
(b) by substituting for Part III the following Part—
BODIES CORPORATE NAMED OR SPECIFICALLY REFERRED TOIN AN ORDER MADE UNDER SECTION 156(4), 444(1) OR 447(2)(a)OF THE HOUSING ACT 1985
