From 1st April 1997, for the period of twelve months ending with 31st March the following year (“the financial year”), and each subsequent financial year until the financial year beginning on 1st April 1999 , the following provisions shall apply:
(a) The fee payable by the holder of a certificate issued under section 6 of the Act (scientific procedures establishments) in respect of the financial year during the whole or part of which the certificate is in force shall be £150.
(b) The fee payable by the holder of a certificate issued under section 7 of the Act (breeding and supplying establishments) in respect of the financial year during the whole or part of which the certificate is in force shall be £675.
(c) In addition the fee payable in respect of the financial year during the whole or part of which a certificate mentioned in paragraph (a) or (b) above is in force, shall be £135 for each person who holds—
(i) a personal licence which specifies the establishment to which the certificate relates as the place where the licence is primarily available, or
(ii) a licence which is treated as a personal licence under paragraph 1 of Schedule 4 to the Act and which names the establishment to which the certificate relates as the only or first-named place where the person is authorised to perform experiments.
